Old syllabus or new??

a question that is killing most of us as to select the new or the old syllabus for the CS PROFESSIONAL COURSE..

since its the last moment pls pls pls suggest that i shuld go for "old is gold formula" or "the change is for the better" formula..

pls comment!! its vry urgnt!!

Hey Nisha as per my view you should Opt to new course because life of old syllabus is generally very small as compare to new syllabus. and the new course is designed according to market requirments for a good professional and it is fully updated so..it is a prudent approach to opt for new course.. because CHANGE IS A LAW OF NATURE...........AND IT IS APPLY TO ALL THESE PROFESSIONAL COURSE TOO..

Dear Nisha,

It totally depends on you….in the old course, there are 8 papers…plus you can appear for all the 8 ..i.e 4 modules in the June 2014 attempt.

Agreed that the old course will cease to exist after June 2015 attempt, but then according to me, you should not think of taking 4 attempt naa…be positive in your approach…And if God Forbid you take more attempts, you will get an exemption for the papers you cleared, in the new course…

And as far as learning goes, you have all your life to do so…Qualification is more important…if you go for the old one, you can showcase that you cleared CS Final in the First Attempt as against a minimum of 2 sittings for the new one…

I suggest…go for the old one onle
