kindly let me know urgently, i have cleared intermediate (first group) in may 1996 after completing my articleship, pls let me know whether the registration is still valid what is the procedure if i wish to give my intermediate (second group) in nov-2008 or may-2009.whether my articleship undergone by me will be considered and valid in future. enlighten me of the last date in case of registration. i had registered for the course in 1993 and my first attempt was in nov-1994. how can i validate my registration.

i think u have to again give 1st group of inter as it has limit of 5 conseqtive attempts for inter exams. and u have to re register urself. better contact institute

If u entered CA on Degree qualification , u have 2 more attempts for PE-2. U need not write the first group again.

If u r from foundation stream, u have to re register for PCC. It includes 100 hrs Information technology trainining ,which must be completed before ur exams at authorised CA branches.(fee - around Rs.4000 ).Even here also u need not write the first group, only the remaining group to be written.

your articleship is considered, u need not do it again.
