When i am trying to import credit note data in GSTR 1 offilne utility form excel an error is occuring which says that "Invoice date needs to be ealier than today and from same financial year". My credit note has been issued in Month of april 18 but is raised against original invoive dated Feb 18. Now offline utility isnt accepting the creditnote data. Any solution for this...??

try to put CN online with Original Invoice & Original Date
I tried online, it is accepting. The no. of credit notes are huge else i would have feeded all online
whether the CN mentioned correct Original Invoice Number & Date ??
yes, irs correct. online its accepting but offilne tool isnt.
Simple soultion upload through offiline mode all details except credit note where it is giving error. Than go to prepare online mode and add the credit note details. I had same issue and followed steps explained.
