I am working in NGO. We are paying Rs. 10,200/- per month office rent. Our landlord suggested for office agreement on Rs. 1000/- stamp paper.
Kindly advise me office agreement rule and should we go for Rs. 1000/- stamp paper agreement.

TDS on rent will not be applicable in your case, as within threshold limit. The valuation of stamp paper and registration charges if any, are subject to the stamp and registration act of that particular state, which you may enquire at Sub-registrar office of your region.
