i want to know how much octroi is applicable to diamond purchase in maharastra if purchase from other state (specifically gujrat).

I think that 2 per cent octroi is levied on diamonds in Mumbai while duty on gold is 0.01 per cent.
But you should confirm it from authentic sources like jewellers, CAs or octroi officials.
