I am OCI card holder and I am thinking of using my skills to start company of my own. In West there is one man company (freelancing) concept and I am thinking whats the option we have in India.

I read online that OPC (one person company) and Sole proprietorship are two things, now the question I have is can a OCI card holder can incorporate one of this and what are pros/cons between them.

Secondly, if I want to employ more people in future so what will be good option etc.

Thanks.

NO,

One Person Company is strictly about RESIDENT.

to be RESIDENT, you have to stay at least 182 days in India.

if you want business with simple paperwork, you may start Limited Liability Partnership

if you want full control, you shall start a PRIVATE LIMITED company with 100% of your capital.

EITHER WAY, you require an INDIAN RESIDENT
