Dear members, i worked for a MNC from 2005 to 2009 and then i shifted to another company from 2010. I am currently not in india and i am in need of my form 16s for the year 2005 to 2009 ( i dont have nay copies). can you kindly help me on how to obtain the form 16 from my previous employer or are there any other means getting those form 16?

doubtful that company have such records in hand, as records over 6 years are not mandatory to maintain, however if they think fit, they can obtain copy from nsdl site
there is no alternate way,
however you can get deduction amount and deductor name from your own portal, from form 26AS, under incometaxefiling site

Please contact ur prv Employer & thy gve From-16. or anyhow u have ur own 26As portal.
By loging with Bank A/C or by IncomeTax India E-filling portal.
you can check 26AS
if you find
otherwise contact to previous employer
