Obtaining Bank receipt
How the bank receipt will be obtained after e payment to know challenge no etc. for recording in ITR

you can get information from 26AS document
But AS26 gives the information in too late.Is there any way out to get the receipt.
I think receipt/challan is generated after e payment to bank.
you can trace the status of challan through challan status enquiry system or if payment made by net banking mode then the option will be shown their for downloading challan made to DT department
You can go with the option of reprint Challan in your Net banking under "E-Tax" Option. You Can find the Latest payment details.
