I am eligible for CA finals since may 13. Due to some personal reasons I was not able to sit for may 13 exams and later on I gave exams in next term but failed. After that I left CA and joined a business. Now once again I am reappearing for CA finals in may16. just one thing which comes to my mind is how many number of attempts will be reckoned by the companies during placements. My friend said that no of attempt will be counted from may13 i.e.6attempts, even if I haven't appeared for the exams. I am really worried. please resolve my query.

Forget about the number of attempts. First focus on your examination and clear it at the earliest. The question as to number of attempts and all will come into picture later.

I dono whether company counts attempts u skipped.....logically they shouldn't...... But it is not an issue to break ur head upon.....just study well....

Thank you to both of you and yes I shall and I will study well. And I will join a CA firm after the exams so that I can get good practical exposure which I need a lot.
