NRI Pan Status
Hi... If an NRI has got an email for linking of adhaar but he is not eligible for obtaining adhaar is there anyway to intimate that person is NRI or is there any procedure as such of changing PAN status as NRI (PAN was issued when he was indian citizen) or should I ignore the mail

If you are permanently settled abroad, you may ignore the mail.
So sir will the PAN remain oprerative ?
Yes, PAN will be operative till you file ITR under NRI status.
You can update your income tax eportal profile to non resident so in a way your PAN will remain operative
But there is no IT Account to update profile
You can register as new user on income tax eportal
No need to link in case nri status updated in income tax portal.
