MY NAME IS MOHD JAVED KHAN CA FINAL STUDENT. I AM APPEARING IN NOVEMBER 2014!! PLEASE CONFIRM ME IFRS WHICH IS GIVEN IN STUDY MATERIAL OF FINANCIAL REPORTING UNDER CHAPTER 2 IS APPLICABLE FOR EXAMS OR THEY ARE GIVEN JUST FOR KNOWLEDGE?? BECAUSE WHEN I CHECK REVISION TEST PAPER HERE MENTION THAT IFRS IS NOT APPLICABLE IN NOVEMEBER 2014!! SO THERE IS NEED TO READ OR I JUST SKIP THAT!! PLEASE HELP

I READ FINANCIAL REPORTING FROM STUDY MATERIAL JANUARY EDITION 2014 IS THERE ANY CHANGES OR THIS IS REVISED EDITION?? SCHEDULE III OF COMPANIES ACT 2013 IS APPLICABLE AS PER RTP!! BUT IT IS NOT MENTION UNDER THIS EDITION OF STUDY MATERIAL BUT I DOWNLOAD SCHEDULE III FROM ICAI WEBSITE AND READ ALSO!!

LASTLY PLEASE CONFIRM ME IS THERE ANY NEECESSITY TO READ ACCOUNTING STANDARD PARA WISE WHICH IS GIVEN UNDER VOLUME 2 OF FINANCIAL REPORTING OR I JUST SKIP THAT !!

IFRS & Ind AS not applicable for Nov 2014, you can skip it

IFRS not applicable for Nov 2014 and AS continues to apply. Schedule III is applicable since Chapter IX-Accounts of Companies of the Companies Act 2013 has been included in Nov Exam for CA Final. See the ICAI notification from below link--

Also, Revised Schedule VI has been adopted by Companies Act 2013 as Schedule III.

Thank You All For Valuable Advice!! :) Is There Any Other Change In Revised Schedule VI of Companies Act 1956 And Schedule III of Companies Act 2013 Except Preparation And Presentation of Consolidated Financial Statements!!!??
