Cost Management & MICS, the two subjects which destroyed dreams of many young budding Chartered Accountants. And am one among them.
Am totally frustrated with the valuation of these papers.
Can anyone pls suggest me a good book for Cost Management(Theory only) and MICS. coz these two are the gratest hurdle for my May 2010 exam.
Is Shri Gurukripa(Padhuka Publications) book for Indirect Tax is a good one? or which author is good for Indirect taxes.
Same wid me..! :(
I've heard only 2 names in IDT- Bangar n Ajay Jain...
Bangar is too voluminous- bt m following it.. Dunno bout Paduka..
My advice wud b, stick to previous notes, dnt change them 3 months prior to exam..

But dont lose hopes...Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost...
And as you asked about books to be referred
i studied from Sanjay aggarwal book and found it excellent....
And for MICS i opted Dinesh madan handbook...
Books are to the point but cover all topics and can be revised in short span of time....
I referred Dippak gupta notes for IDT and found them good...though my score is not decent in that. But book is good or you can go for bangar ...that too is a excellent book
