Notice received u/s 148 that income chargeable to tax AY 2014-2015 escaped assessment.
I am a house wife. My father gifted a flat which I have given on monthly rent of Rs.13000.00 (annual income Rs.154000.00).
IT asked to submit reply. PLease guide,

Reply response asap by providing all the details of your income during the year and also provide details of rent received
I am house wife only annual rent income is Rs.154000.00 and there is no other source of income.
Ok, then you should give details of your rent received and income is less than basic exemption limit
If registation of flat is made on your name than it is possible that some payment was made in cash hence you have received notice u/s 148.
