Dear Tejinder
Before issueing notice u/s 148, the assessing office must have reason to believe and record in writing
So your first spet will be asking the reason for issuing the notice
after receiving reason why notice is issued, start reply accordigly

1st you have to file ITR then ito can reveal the reason
