A company has received a notice u/s 139(9) for erroring in Part a ( P & L ) account. The fact is that the company has not started any operations and hence P & L account was not prepared. Can we simply put "0" in the relevant columns of Part A P & L and file.

You have to not prepare P&L rather you should prepare Pre operative statement.
You would have ticked that S 44AA is applicable to you. Try it by changing its not applicable to you
