My friend got notice u/s 133(6) asking information regarding his genuiness of his refund's . He was having proof's for everything . But only problem is his work place & income tax offce is in different states, can we reply via post & what were the consequences would be if we ignore this 133(6) notice.. Thank you

yes you can send reply by post. if you fail to respond, then you may be penalized by RS. 100/- per day until you furnish the required details under section 272A(2)(c)
