Notice received in form 603 see rule 70 of u/s 64 mvat act

Dear All, 

We have received 1 notice from ADVISORY VISIT CELL in form 603 see Rule 70 of the MVAT Rules, 2005, notice U/S. 64 of the MVAT Act 2002

QUESTION IS  

i) What is the time limit of the notice issued in same section ?

ii) What is the Power of Sales Tax Officer under same section ?

my company is registered in Sales Tax in Year 2009 but we have received notice on 28/12/2013

as per my point of view advisory visit should be in between 3-6 month
