Notice received from cpc u/s 143(1)

Notification 513 views 4 replies

I received intimation from CPC u/s 143(1) as my ITR income is not matching with form 26AS.

I purchased a car in the month of october worth 1050800.00. Ths amount is appered in form 26AS as Amount Paid/Debited. The car dealer also deducted TCS (10% amount) i.e. 10508.00

Now my concern is that in the notice received from CPC, the amount 1050800.00 is appeares under income from other sources.

Please help me in this case to send reply for the notice.

with respect to your problem, an oppurtunity has been provided to you to explain and rectify the same with in 30days of issuance of such intimation, so that response so received will be considered before making any adjustment by the A.O. there please respond the notice in an appropriate way.
Hello sir. The amount 10th 50 thousand is my expense, not my earning. Why CPC added this amount in my earning. Can you help me in the response...

You should ask your car dealer to revise his TCS return I think. You should clarify this with IT department in response. In response upload the scanned  copy of Invoice .

Dear Sahu,
since any expense you make should have to be from some income source and if you are not reflecting such source mismatching will be there between you income and expense giving rise to suspicion to AO and hence the notice.
