Notice of Demand under GST

Recently the GST officers have conducted an inspection in one of my clients premises and issued an order under section 122 of KGST Act 2017 demanding a tax of Rs. 100000.00, now we have corrected with the discrepancies observed by the officers. 

Should we file a statement of objection in response to the order or we should write a request letter to the officer to drop the penalty.

Please guide.
