Notice for non filing of return

Hi,

Today i had received email notification for non filing of income tax return for AY 15-16 from compliaand was asked to provide respone in compliance module online.

But i had already filed a ITR on 20th March 2016 i.e before the end of the assesment year. I had also checked online site of income tax which is showing no pending action and nothing under compliance tab for AY 15-16.

Please advise now how can i reply to the notice or what action needs to be take

I have also recd the same notice in my e mail but return already filed for A.Y. 2015-16 for my HUF.

The error has occured in system, in many such cases the e-mail has been dispatched. So, need not worry, if return already filed. Wait for further communication, it may happen that after verification second email regretting the error may also be despatched.
