Notice 139 (9)

Either change the nature of business code as suitable to section 44ADA, if possible, and file same ITR 4.. (for no accounts maintained) ......Or file ITR 3 with P&L acc and Balance sheet (as accounts maintained)

Hi Sir,

I have also received the same Defective Return with Error Code 89. But when i am trying response to Notice u/s 139 (9) and in that no record found result is showing. Attach is the screenshot for the same.

After the receipt of notice of Defective ITR by mail.......... it takes about 4 to 5 working days to reflect the same in the system....... so wait till then......... you are given 15 days to reply,,,,

Today i got an intimation about my refective return with error code 89.its saying The provisions of Section 44ADA not applicable to the
taxpayer. The nature of business code in Sch NOB is not a
profession, and the income disclosed under Section
44ADA income is more than zero. Hence the provisions of
Section 44ADA is not applicable to the taxpayer. What is the solution?

1. As per the notice, solution provided is file return under normal process with P&L and Balance sheet details.

2. Or file revised return with any other modification in the data like code change.....
