I am trying to file ITR2 with new JSON utility for my HUF for assessment year 21-22. But the option to choose tax regime is greyed out.
I am able to choose the new tax regime for my individual return.
Any guidance or suggestions are welcome. Please help.
For an HUF, the New Tax Regime is the default setting as of AY 2024-25. If you do not see an option to "choose" the new regime, it is because it is already active by default. If you wish to use the Old Tax Regime, you must manually opt out in the "Personal Information" section of your ITR, or file Form 10-IEA if your HUF has business or professional income.
