Normal place of service

It should mean the place where you are undergoing your articleship.

Your place of registration can be anywhere particularly in case of large firms which have many offices in the country. Registration of the articles can take place anywhere depending on vacancies under their partners across offices. But you may be actually working somewhere else. Like registered under partner from Ahmedabad but you are posted in Delhi branch under a different partner.

Generally in such cases, firms do not keep different stipend rates for the students.
