Is there any penal provision for non-deduction of PF by the employer for the employees whom it was deducted and deposited earlier?

Question not clear can u elaborate
Employer did not deduct PF for its employees, employer share as well as employee share.
The same was deducted regularly in previous months. Is there any legal penalty for non-deduction ?
