Assuming that the provisions of PF Act does not apply to your current employer, you may withdraw the balance. Such proceeds (as applicable) would be taxable provided exemption provisions are not applicable. Alternatively, you may wait for 3 yrs and then transfer or withdraw because after 3 years, no interest would be earned on the balance.
