Quick Summary
This discussion addresses the challenges of obtaining GST registration following the death of a proprietor, particularly when dealing with old rented properties lacking formal rental agreements (kirayanama). Participants are seeking guidance on acceptable documentation, such as electricity bills in a father's name, and exploring alternatives like consent letters if the property belongs to a trust. The consensus is that proper documentation is essential for GST registration.

without documentation you wont be able to get the GST registration. is the electricity bill in the name of the trust? if yes, instead of showing it as rented property, just take consent letter.

If any one idea please suggest
