I am charging the room rent below Rs.1000 per day. but I will cross the turnover 20 lacs per year. will I take new gst number. and will I need to fill gst return for every month is compulsory?

u need not take registration
No need to get registered as dealing exclusively in exempted goods.
It's service not goods
