My RC has been cancelled by the department and in the notice it said there is no outstanding dues. If I leave as it is as it stands cancelled and after few years, whether I can apply for fresh registration with same Pan or I have to file the returns upto date and apply for cancellation
Department might be saying "no outstanding" because you might not have filed returns. You are liable to clear your dues and file all returns along with final return otherwise you may face problem at the time of fresh registration.
