New RC requirement
I am currently engaged in business of printing and sale of wedding cards and having GSTIN for the same. Now I am planning to enter into trading of iron and steel business whether new RC to taken for it or I can just add my new business to existing GSTIN itself.

Yes you have to apply for RC amendment

You can continue both business under same GSTN .
But for proper account keeping can obtain separate Registration.
