My birth date in the profile is wrong, though correct as per my pan card. in the new tax portal.


how do I edit and correct it.

I am facing similar problem, my gender is wrongly mentioned. Most of the data is missing or wrong. Wonder why was this portal launched without proper testing. The older version was working perfectly without any glitch.

Yes true.

does not reflect good on Infosys.

FM has asked Nandan Nilekani to fix it

That portal tottaly not working very very slow y the government allow publish the new software launched all the peoples asking to file but here the software very poor

It is astonishing to note having spent an amount of Rs.4000 and more on the new income tax portal. The old portal was very handy and individuals and senior citizens were familiar to fill in ITR 1 online easily and submit. It is requested to restore old IT portal and if necessary any additions could be added.
