Hello Sir

I want to start a computer hardware software, CCTV, Bio Metric, security equipment business as supplier and installer to private, govt. deptt. Where should i register vat or service tax deptt. ? Can i obtain service tax no then migrate it to GST. And if it is possible then can i use GST no as sale tax no. to enable me to do sale- purchase local & interstate sale ?

I am from haryana state please clear my doubt

If you are starting your business than till 10 lacs you don't have to take registration in vat, service tax and also gst when ur turnover exceed 10 lacs you have to charged tax so it depends if your turnover does not exceed 10 lacs in April, may, June Than you can directly go for registration of gst

Sir I have to start business, so there is no quetion of turnover. Please tell me can i go dirctly for GST Registration in July. Is there any guaranter needed as required in CST/VAT registration.

Hello Sir

Thankx for your advice. I didn't take any registration like GST as my turnover is not more than 10 lacs. This is my first year i started my work and not completed one year (only 03 months completed). i want to register on an online govt. portal for sale & service. But they are asking for 03 years turnover certificate. What should i give them ? Please guide me
