Should i study income tax act 1961 or New direct tax code?

No, Direct Tax code is just a bill. If it gets passed in parliament, even then it shall be applicable from 1/4/2011. So not applicable for any exam upto it becomes applicable. You should concentrate on Income Tax Act only.
