I am in CA final, registration wef aug2011, given Nov 2016 exam also but didn't clear. new course registration will be starting from 01.07.17, my question is that what I need to do for continue under old course or should I have to do some procedure with ICAI for persuing course under old course? is new course applicable for us (old registration student) if yes, what I need to do? can I apply it at later stage also?

Hi Farhaad. There is no need to register for the new course. You can continue with the old and you will get 3-4 attempts before you have to mandatorily register for the new course. So just relax and keep trying. All the very best!
new syllabus not applicable on revalidation. ICAI allowed for old students to continue in old syllabus till Nov 20
Thanx for the reply, one more thing to ask- is re-registration required as my original registration was wef Aug 2011? I heard it's required, m not sure
Yes you have to immediately get re-register as 5 year lapse from registration.
