New course
Hi,My CA final attempt is May 18 and I have an option of switching between the new course or continue with the old course. Although we have been advised to stick with the old course considering there's not enough time for May 18 attempt. I personally am very inclined to go with the new course as the change is something I would prefer to opt for. My question was if anyone has consulted ICAI regarding the same and if anyone knows by when the modules for the new course for May 18 attempt would be out? So that we have a better clarity regarding the syllabus..Thanks

There is no info. avlbl regarding study materials of new scheme .
as ur attempt is in may 18 n if u hve nt done much of ur studies, then u should switch to new scheme

I agree your attempt is in May 18, study materials will be out in July end or August mid, after that faculties and Book writers will need 2-3 months to prepare for new syllabus, so almost November it will be to have self study books or classes... so u can have just one group with new syllabus in
may 18
if u can do self study from ICAI material then go ahead for both groups

Even u can complete Law, DT till then as these subjects will be having amendments only.
Go For Old Course. Don't waste Time Thinking about New Course .You can always brush up your knowledge after qualification.
