New central excise notification 17/2013 & 18/2013 c.e.(nt).

A dealer is registered under central excise as dealer and he also import and sell the imported goods & issue cenvat invoice. Is it required for such dealer to get seprate registration under new central excise notification 17/2013 & 18/2013 C.E.(NT). Pl clearify.

Sir,

In this reagrd they are importer and passed the duty without registration or they are having the registration if they having the registration it is seficient for this.

No seprate registration Number required same.

Sir , They are registered as dealer with excise and also have IEC code and they import for trading. They pass on the CVD based on BE copy. Now please tell me what should be position? As they have to file the Q 1st return. Thanks Prabhat

Sir, The are registered as dealer under excise. They have ECC & IEC code. they import and issue invoice for CVD purpose under dealer registration. Now please advise us, should they take new registration for imported goods. Thanks Prabhat
