Need urgent help to study audit
can anybody pls suggest if CA pankaj garg's book is good to study CA final auditing??
are there any major amendments in audit for May 2015?

Don't knw about pankaj garg. There is a very few amendments in respect of new companies act..that u can refer from law. Apart from this, tax audit clauses has been increased in tax audit chapter. Althese u can find in padhuka's site shrigurukripa.com here only amendments for up coming exams.
Following are major Amendments.
Company Act, 2013
Clause 49 Listing Agreement
Form 3CD Tax Audit Report- Clause has been increased & S.No. has been changed.
Refer - Sumit Aggarwal Book. It is upto dated amended for May, 2015 Exams.

Dont know about Pankaj Garg, but i would suggest for Urvis Shah's book from Dish9 Publication. Its best book specially for Professional Ethics and S.A. In addition, Company Audit is also disclosed perfactly.
