need help with export license, IEC

I run a Proprietorship firm. I am a web designer. My work is designing and setting up websites for overseas people and companies.Everything goes online.

I got my IEC number recently on my firm name, under type of export "merchant exporter".
Actually I wanted to get my IEC number under export type"service provider".

I don't have service registration certificate so they gave me an IEC under "merchant exporter".

I want to know whether I come under type of export "merchant exporter" as I already told that I provide web design services.

Will there be any problems in future If I continue with "merchant exporter" license.

Do I require to get all my Export Invoices certified from STPI.

Get your IEC amended. This mendment is necessary as you may be using IEC at various places, firstly taking RCMC.

If you are exporting your services online, no IEC is required. Further, certification of valuation on softex is required only when such export is under some export incentive scheme.

I still dont understand why have you taken IEC. probably you are planning to take some export incentive. It is necessary to get it amended.
