Need Help to read Assessment Procedure

       FOr Direct Taxes, i feel that T.N.Manoharan SIr's book s the best. he has explained the provisions of assessment procedure in detail with many illustrations.

u need some practice only.. go wid COMPILER OF DT BY BANGER just for practice...

take self assessment test...

One more writer's name to confuse you more 'Dr. Girish Ahuja' :-). Dear friend, all the books are good and all the writers are well known. Instead of getting confused in various writers, better is to prepare summarised notes. Income tax is matter of understanding the sections and rules and all writers just explain it. Nobody can change it. You must have a good command over sections and provisions. Then all books will seem good to you. You don't need to change the book. You just need to learnthe techniques for retention of provisions, and sections in your mind at the time of exams. Better way is prepare very short summarised notes, and have lots of group discussions with your friends. I have few techniques for preparation of taxation papers and presentation in the exams. Hey buddy....... Do one think...... Go to a book shop... Just take the available books as yr options and go directly to yr required chapter and read fo 2 pages......... Then decide...... This is how i select my books..... Just try.........
