On which basis big firms like PWC , KPMG select students for Articleship.?
i am preparing for first group of ipcc.............i want to know that is it necessary to do both the groups of ipcc to get good firms?

every firms seeks rankholders first then both group in first attempt .
Big4 mostly give prefrence to whom who cleared both groups in first attempt.then after your performance is judged in interview.
Also, Big firms apart from meritorious also check for two references if the marks are not upto their expectations.
