Hi friends am a new member and happy to be here among the professionals.

I recently passed out my first group in CA finals and appearing for second this June.

I am 26 years by age and want to know your view points as regards my problem are.

Since past few days am nervous and tense regarding my long age and lately passing my CA Final group.

My friends and family though happy to see me clear out one group, they still keep reminding me of my long age and time that has been lost to clear and reach at this position when many are successfully practicing CA and much more qualified than me (I am a graduate and CA final Group 1 cleared till date).

My question:

Is it too late for me to be successful in this profession when many fresh CPT students and articles are ruling good possibilities which leaves a loser like me far behind. I have no time to even think of doing MBA and also the possibility to clear 2^nd group in CA final is something I can’t predict except study hard to my best.

I request proper guidance as to what should be my next step and what should I do to be at least successful in CA after reaching here when there is no back.

Don't listen to those big mouths. Just stay focused to what you have been trying. I agree you have wasted a good time but not completely. At 26 you should not loose hope. I guess you are geting sidetracked by listening to those who have nothing else to do but just keep reminding you of your mistakes. First, get away from such demotivators, concentrate on second group and leave rest to time. As far as new freshers and articles are concerned, lemme tell you that they don't impact the pay check of a CA at all. Once you are CA, you should enjoy the benefits come to you and relax. Don't waste much time now since you have won half the battle.

Study Hard, Give your soul this June and Life will reward you sucess :)

I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE IN THE AGE 28 -30 WILL TAKE CPT AND CLEAR THE CA AND GOT GOOD JOBS AND SOME PEOPLE WILL GET IN TO PRACTICE..ITS NOT MUCH CRETIREA OF AGE, CA IS NOT DEGREE R MASTER THAT YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE IN THE AGE 20 R 21 SO PLS THINK ITS PROFESSIONAL COURSE NOT A DEGREE. PEOPLE R THERE WILL DO IN 21 R WITHIN 25 ITS NOT MATTERS THAT EVERY ONE SHOULD BE CA IN THAT AGE.SOME WILL COMPLETE IN THE AGE 25 R 28 R 30 R WITHIN 35...BUT COMPLETEING CA IS ONLY BIG ACHIEVEMENT..DONT LISTEN TO ANYONE PLS STUDY WELL AND COMPLETE...YOUR ALREADY IN FINAL AFTER THAT YOU CAN TRY FOR JOB AND YOU CAN DO MBA ..ALL THE BEST
