is the stamp-paper (alongwith form no. 102) necessary for articleship registration, given that it is not to be deposited with the icai?... can there be the need to submit it at any future-time to the icai?... also, if needed, then is it necessary that it has to be of the same date as the date of articleship commencement... cant it be of a later or earlier date?...

stamp paper is not required to b deposited with icai.. it will b with ur principle.... it should b of either earlier or d same date... it cannot b of later date....
Legally stamp paper is required for articleship because a contract is entered into between principal and articled assistant.stamp paper is not filed in the ICAI.However, most of the CAs does without stamp paper.
