Name problem in itr 1

I am assuming you are using Excel Utility. Have you enabled macros in Excel. If not

Open the excel file from the main drop down menu of Excel go to Excel Options---->trust center--------->Trust Center Settings -------------->macro settings---------------> enable all macros

We face same problem and We are using Excel 2003. In this case we make Micro sequrity to LOW.

any other chages is needed?

This is clearly a macro issue. Change the settings. Close excel and restart and then try.

I think the problem is we are using old version of Excel 2003. Does anybody triedon Excel 2003?

Instead of uploading you can try quick e filing after keeping all your data ready and handy. First fill up  the schedules; you can save then & there and finally you can give submit. It will be very easy. Give a try.
