Name mistake in itrv

As mentioned by you, status of your original return shown is ITR V not received. If you had sent it to the correct address at Bangalore CPC, then no reason for this to happen. Until ITR V reaches CPC, return submission is not complete. So if they have not received your ITR V, chances are that your efiling will not be processed at all. Better way to correct your name and complete the process is to file a revised return and send the ITR V to CPC by speed post as suggested by Manoj. Just remember not to send any other document (not even covering letter) alongt with ITR V and do not send the ITR V to any other Income Tax office.
