Hi, I was trying to file the return of income through https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/portal/index.do for my wife. Initially as you all know that we need to register the details through PAN. When I did the same, it throws me some error stating that the details/ credentials provided are incorrect. After many failures, I called to customer care in IT department and later found that the name accepting in the above website (updated for IT records) and in PAN card is different as under:
