My 3rd attempt-amendments in all subjects for may

Hi Priya, first my best wishes for your upcoming 3rd attempt. Coming to the books, its advisable u get the latest Law book as there are quite a few amendments for May 2012. Audit and ISCA you can continue with th old one itself as not much changes have happened. DT - i think you can continue with the old book and supplement that with Institute's supplementary book. But if u want to buy a new one u can go gor Bangar. Its not a big book whole text covered under 600 pages. Gud luck.!

You are advised to drop the bad experiences of your previous attempt, because it will create anxiety and tension in your mine. Keep distance from negative people. Because tension, anxiety etc kill your creativity.

Creativity and  your unique view and style is very important not only for CA exam but for your life also.. Believe in yourself you can do it.

I have been to ICAI, Vishwas Nagar, New Delhi, There is a notification on notice board, which states 'ICAI is in the process of revision of study material of CA Final examination by January 2012.

It has been observed by many students and faculty that in CA Exams most of the question are asked from the study material, practice mannual and other publicaiton of ICAI,

Keeping above in consideration, you are advised to buy new publications of ICAI, Study thoroughly. You may study other materials but as a reference only.

ca is a course of patience and devotion and so just work hard and be confident

regardng books, i dont know where are you from, if you are from kolkata just get law and audit books and notes of bachhawat sir. For accounts you can continue with the old one but regarding sfm do purchase new study material of instt

Moreover for 2nd group jst continue with the old book of costng and mics but purchase the new idt of bangar and collect dt amendment for relevent asst year

lastly, Do prepare yourself with PRACTICE MANUAL AND RTPS of ALL SUBJECTS

As per my xperience atleast 15-20 marks will be covered specially in rtps and do refer recent case laws for dt and idt as uploaded in ca institute site

QUESTIONS ARE ASKED FROM THE INSTITUTE PUBLICATIONS, WHICH IS THE CURRENT TREND. ( ICAI HAS PUT CONSIDERABLE MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT IN MODIFYING OUR STUDY MATERIAL, RIGHT FROM CPT THROUGH FINAL).

SO, BETTER YOU BUY ICAI STUDY MATERIAL AND READ, AND MAKE NOTES FROM THAT BY THE FIRST READING ITSELF(REVISION WOULD BE EASIER THEN). OTHER MATERIALS TO SUPPLEMENT IT ONLY.

AND MY SINCERE ADVICE IS TO FOCUS ON ONE GROUP IN WHICH YOU ARE MORE CONFIDENT OF AND CLEAR THE FINAL IN 2012 ITSELF.
