Dear Friends,
I was uploading the MVAT return for Apr to June 2012 period with option selected for Last Return, since the business is closed. However once i upload the return, it shows the error that Annexures file (J1/J2 etc) need to be uploaded first.
And when i fill the annexures file for FY 2012-13, it shows error that Future financial Year cannot be selected. Thus i am unable to upload the annexures file
Any suggestion to file last return for MVAT for FY 2012-13 period.. Thanks in advance

Then the only way is to submit the return manually to the concerned vat office and take acknowledgement.......MJK

Annexures are required only in last Quater, return can be filled without Annexures in earlier Quaters.
File ist Q VAT return without selection option of last return
submit Q2 Q3 return nil
at the end of year now u can uplod annexture & Q4 return as last return
Shobhit, Just select Eligible for E-704 as YES and upload your Last VAT Return.
I got this answer/solution from MVAT dept on 23760646, which is OK
