Must GMCS1 be done with in 1 yr of articles?

Hi,I recently re joined Articleship.I have already completed 9 months of articleship But did not complete GMCS-1.Now I am full busy with coaching and all and I am also doing M.com in a mode of distance education.Even those exams are coming up.It's next to impossible for me to attend GMCS classes,But my schedule will be cleared after June.Then I will go for GMCS-1,But the problem,I would already complete 1 yr articles by then.So will there be any problem if I don't do GMCS within one year?What happens if I don't do?Would my IPCC result be with held?

Please Answer.

In an ideal scenario you ought to finish your GMCS - 1 in your first year of articleship training. One of the consequences would might be that you may not be permitted to appear in the examination if the Institute makes it a strict provision for applying for the exam. So far no such indications you see in this direction, but one can not rule out this option either.
