This time buy big book. Hand book is for revision purpose if u knw the content in detail. Many of the points won't be there in hand book.

u can also icsi company law book as a guidelines

Buy comprehensive at initial level and after completing the same revise from practice manual. this approach will help you to score good as law is a scoring subject in 1st group.
Dear Tamanna, Please refer handbook written by Munish Bhandari for law. You need not to go anywhere & concern topics from PM & SM issued by the institute. Munish Bhandari itself constituets many case laws & questions, also it is easy to read. Just go through it that sit.

@ Praveen pandey

As per Book published for last attempt (i.e. nov 14), munish sir has made book his super revisible and deleted all case laws with hints ans which was there in earlier editions.

@ Tamanna

If u have time u shud read text book(comprehensive) for learning the concepts in detail and to know how to answer and what type of questions asked in previous attempts. also it covers many topics which is not covered in hand book (as per last edition). However what matters at last is that u shud know the all provisions of each section which frequently comes in exam. even u cover all ques given in text buk..u may forget with passage of time..what is more imp is to know all provision (possible with summary given in hand buk) during exam time rather than knowing and learning concepts in detail. I'm not disrespecting the concepts.. concepts do require for clear understanding and to enhance ur knowldge but as per law exam paper..they merely asks on conceptual basis...if u know the provision u can easily write ur answer.10% of the question alwys be tricky evn in all subjects but still i prefer to learn with conceptual understanding

For exam purpose..If u already decided to opt for munisg sir book, then best advise is to do handbook with practise manual. Cover PM with respective chap and i think thats enough.

Also u can do law from latest version of padhuka and then no need to do PM then as it covers evrything.

Crux: Answer to ur original ques: if want to use munish sir book: then Handbook plus PM of icai

if want to use paduka..then only paduka

Both book are great..u can choose anyone..

Best of luck..

@ abhinandan... I am also going to purchase new book of law. As u said paduka is good so now it is confusing bhandari or paduka...plz suggest me one book for all(rtp, pm, sm)..100% coverage..

Go for comprehensive material. It contails all past year questions and you might skip PM.However if there is lack of time then go for handbook alongwith PM.Munish bhandari is better than Padhuka

u can also prefer scanners

@ rohan

Go for paduka..its all in one..

This discussion is for whom?  Final or IPCC students..

Handbook is for those who have taken class from munish bhandari sir. If you have not taken classes then dont go for handbook. You should either get comprehensive book or get books of a student who has attended his classes and then revise from handbook. And also get latest practice manual.

Dear Tamanna,

We recommend Munish Bhandari Handbook and Manual.

All the best.
