May any one tell me the procedure of registration of a Multi State Co Operative Society. Specially the minimum Capital requirement ,the registrar office in Delhi and registration fees.

  Minimum Requirements

Fifteen or more persons having attained the age of 18 years

who are residing in the area of operation of the society could form a Registered Cooperative Society. The norms have been prescribed by the O/O RCS, Delhi for registration of new societies which are given below in the form of a statement and are to be followed by the promoters while organizing a new society. The procedure for formation of cooperative society starts by electing a Chief Promoter by other promoter members by holding a General Body Meeting of such promoters authorizing him to sign necessary papers and submitting them in the O/o RCS. In Delhi, the present norms for formation of different kinds of societies are as under :-

Dear  For multistate cooperative society the basic important points are as below.

As per MSCS ACT 2002

 

1.Four copies of the proposed Bye-laws of the Multi-state cooperative society, duly signed by each of the persons who sign the application.

2.Name of the proposed multi-state cooperative society.

3.Head Quarters and address to be registered.

4.A list of persons who have contributed to the share capital, together with the amount contributed by each of them, and the admission fee paid by them.

5.Area of operation.

6.Main objectives

7.A certificate from the Bank or banks stating the credit balance in favour of the proposed multistate cooperative society.

8.A scheme showing the details explaining how the working of the multi-State co-operative society will be economically sound and the registration of such multi-State co-operative society will be beneficial for social and economic betterment of its members through self-help and mutual aid in accordance with the co-operative principles.

9.The certified copy of the resolution of the promoters which shall specify the name and address of one of the applicants to whom the Central Registrar may address correspondence under the rules before registration and dispatch or hand over registration documents.

can anyone tell me how much exp. and time it will take to register a co-op. society

The time and experience required to register a co-op society can vary, but typically it takes 1-3 months, depending on the complexity and completeness of the application.
