Micro, Small and Medium sized enterprises in both the manufacturing and service sector can obtain MSME Registration under the MSMED Act.
MSME are classified into two categories:
i. Manufacturing enterprise; and
ii. Service enterprise.
They are defined in term of investment in Plant and Machinery/ Equipment as below
